Shailendra is a Managing Director with Sequoia Capital and is based out of Bangalore. He has been at the firm for over eight years, including three years in Sequoia Capital's Silicon Valley office. He focuses on Technology, Internet, Mobile and Services investments. He currently serves on the boards of Druva, Freecharge, Just Dial (NSE: JUSTDIAL), Mu Sigma, Pine Labs, Practo, Scio Health Analytics, Sourcebits and Via. His other investments include Capillary Technologies, Cognizant (NYSE: CTSH), eClerx (NSE: ECLERX), GlobalLogic (Acquired by Apax Partners), InfoEdge (NSE: NAUKRI), iYogi, Pangea3 (Acquired by Thomson Reuters) and UnitedLex. Prior to Sequoia Capital, Shailendra worked at Bain & Co in New York and was earlier an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley during the dot com bubble.
Shailendra received an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Mumbai. Shailendra is also a Kauffman Fellow.
